Perfeldhof is located at 1,200 meters above sea level in the breathtaking landscape of Saalbach-Hinterglemm and is the perfect base for exploring nature. The Saalbach-Hinterglemm JokerCard, which you receive free of charge as our guest, also gives you free access to many attractions and free use of the cable cars and public transportation in the region.
While winter at Perfeldhof offers ideal conditions for skiers and snowboarders due to its direct location on the Zwölferkogel ski slope, in summer, the focus is on experiencing nature. The beautiful mountain landscape around the farm invites you to enjoy extended hikes and mountain bike tours. The JokerCard provides free access to the cable cars, making it easy to reach the best starting points for your hikes. Families especially appreciate the many experiences Saalbach-Hinterglemm offers, including child-friendly themed hiking trails, water playgrounds, and adventure parks.
On our farm, young guests can look forward to a unique farm experience. Our calves and goats spend the summer in the pasture, and children are welcome to help bring the animals back every day. Weekly goat walks turn the farm holiday into an unforgettable adventure. Our rabbits and cats also love lots of cuddles, and the large playground offers plenty of space to run around. Meanwhile, parents can relax on our sun terrace and enjoy the beautiful views of the landscape.
The JokerCard is a great advantage for our guests, providing access to numerous activities in the region. These include not only the free cable car rides but also entry to the popular Käpt’n Hook Adventure Pool, mini-golf courses, and many other family attractions. A special highlight for children is the Baumzipfelweg and the Teufelswasser Theme Park, where they can explore nature through play.

Winter Holidays at Perfeldhof: The Perfect Combination of Skiing Fun and Traditional Farm Charm
Winter holidays at Perfeldhof offer a perfect blend of exceptional skiing and the authentic charm of a traditional farm. Located at 1,200 meters above sea level, right on the slopes of the Zwölferkogel in the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, our home is ideal for all winter sports enthusiasts. With over 270 kilometers of ski slopes and modern lifts right at your doorstep, you can strap on your skis and hit the slopes straight away. The ski area offers runs for all levels, from gentle slopes for beginners to challenging descents for advanced skiers and snowboarders.
Despite focusing on winter sports, Perfeldhof remains a fully working farm even in the colder months. Our dairy cows and farm-fresh products enrich the breakfast buffet, allowing you to start your day with delicious homemade treats. Fresh milk, yogurt, and butter are just some of the delights we offer our guests. You’ll experience farm life up close, even if some activities, such as the playground and petting zoo, are not available in winter. Surrounded by ski slopes in the winter, our focus during this season is fully on welcoming ski and snowboard enthusiasts.
Perfeldhof offers many benefits for families. Being located directly on the slopes means you can start your ski day without any long walks – a great convenience for families with children. After a day on the slopes, you can return to our cozy, modern apartments, where you can relax while taking in the snowy winter landscape. The ski room with boot dryers ensures that your equipment is always ready, and our wellness area with a sauna invites you to enjoy soothing warmth after a day in the snow.
The Zwölferkogel offers challenging runs for advanced skiers, but beginners can also find their place in the Skicircus. Ski schools and practice slopes ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn the ropes. Children and beginners can enjoy the well-equipped ski schools in the region, while experienced skiers tackle the thrilling challenges of the steeper slopes. Snowboarders can also make the most of the area's snow parks, perfect for freestyle enthusiasts.
Beyond skiing, the region has much more to offer. Winter hikers and snowshoers can explore the peaceful, snow-covered nature along numerous trails. Rustic huts along the way provide the perfect place to take a break and enjoy traditional Pinzgauer specialties. We offer not only direct access to the slopes for our guests, but also the opportunity to experience life on a farm – whether it’s enjoying a breakfast with our farm’s fresh products or being close to our animals, who stay on the farm even during the winter months.
However, we would like to point out that not all of our summer offerings are available in winter. The playground and petting zoo are closed during the ski season, as our focus at this time is on welcoming winter sports enthusiasts. Families with children who want to experience the farm will still get a glimpse of life on the farm, but in winter, skiing is the main activity.
Perfeldhof offers you and your family the ideal winter holiday – whether you’re skiing, snowboarding, or simply enjoying the snow-covered mountain scenery. Here, you’ll find the perfect mix of adventure and rural charm, making for an unforgettable holiday experience.
Our own farm with dairy cattle enables us to produce many products ourselves. We are also happy to prepare these for our guests and can therefore offer you the following range from our own production:
- Homemade natural yoghurt
- Fresh cheese cubes pickled in herb oil
- Buttermilk
- Fresh milk
- eggs
- Jams (seasonal)
Some products are produced continuously and are therefore always available. Other products require a production time of at least 24 hours, which is why we ask you to order them early enough.
You will find the products in our refrigerator at the reception from which you may take them yourself. Upon arrival, you will receive a list from us in which you enter the products you have taken out. At the end of your stay, the amount will be calculated and settled in cash!
Products from the Hinterglemmer Genusswerkstatt
Our brother-in-law from the "Xandl-Stadl" also has a comprehensive range of home-made products. Thanks to his busy bee colony, he harvests wonderfully delicious honey from Hinterglemm every year. You can also purchase his products from us. If you want to take advantage of the full range, why not visit him in the "Xandl-Stadl" - you will find the restaurant directly below our house (5 minutes' walk).
In summer, our calves and goats roam freely on the lush pastures, while in winter, they stay warm in the barn. A special treat for our young guests: every day, children can help bring the calves from the pasture back to the barn. Additionally, we offer weekly walks with the goats, where kids can learn more about our animals and have lots of fun. Our cats, Rocky, Simba, Lilly, Luis, and Pauli, are always eager for some cuddles and are often a favorite among the children.
Our horses spend their summer on the alpine meadows, while our dairy cows are milked on the mountain pastures, contributing to the fresh milk served at our winter breakfast buffet. We offer breakfast only during the winter months, but our hens provide fresh eggs year-round, available for purchase in our “farm fridge.” Our rabbits are also a favorite with the kids, always happy to receive gentle pets. At our farm, you and your children can experience farm life up close – a truly unforgettable experience for the whole family.
